As a photojournalist, my job is to tell stories through pictures. When I am working for a newspaper or magazine, what matters is to distill the essence of a story into a few very carefully chosen photographs. When I photograph a wedding I work the same way. My goal is to tell the story of your day through artfully captured real moments, without stage direction or interference. I am glad to do some group pictures and portraits, but I am essentially a photojournalist in my approach. Weddings are beautiful, emotional rituals, rich in detail and deeply personal meaning, that make wonderful pictures. For me, the great satisfaction of photographing a wedding is that my pictures go directly to you, the people who will appreciate them most. And I will give you all of them, so that you may see and choose for yourself what you like, and so that you should have them for your memories. As such, negatives or copy of digital originals are included.
